Given the recent pace of change in technology, many in our industry are now routinely involved in projects with underlying technologies that were not commercial viable or indeed did not exist at the start of their careers. They need opportunities to hone their skills, and to apply experience they developed in fields such as conventional generation to emerging areas.
We are the forefront of some of the most exciting hydrogen and CCUS developments in the UK, working on projects which could hold the potential to deliver the UK’s decarbonisation ambitions. Though hydrogen will only be one of several solutions required to achieve net zero by 2050, its flexibility make it a strong candidate for further support and use in the decades to come.
